Membership of Equitoy is open to all companies, organisations
and persons involved in the toy trade.

Current membership includes Importers, Wholesalers
and Retailers.

All members are required to confirm their acceptance
of the Equitoy Code of Conduct.

Toy Safety
Clive Shelton is retained as the Association's Safety
Adviser and is available to members for safety advice.
Equitoy members are represented on a number of important
safety committees at both UK and European level. (view)
The Association is consulted by the British government
(through BERR) and European commission on changes
and implementation of revisions to safety directives
and regulations.
Customs
Through the Association's customs adviser, Mike Hodge,
members receive regular information affecting their
business.
These include
- Information on forthcoming changes to customs duties.
- The introduction and withdrawal of quotas and surveylance
procedures.
Equitoy is additionally consulted on changes to customs
duties and procedures.
Legal assistance
Members have access to free initial consultation with
Philip Drazen of Fox Hayes Solicitors.
Insurance
