ABOUT EQUITOY
Equitoy is an association of member companies involved
in the importation and distribution of toys.
Members share common interests and are assisted by
the Association's Officers and Advisers.
The Association holds its Annual General Meeting each
year in June at which members are elected to sit on
Equitoy's council.

The Association holds important 'members-only' presentations
twice a years - in June and November.
In particular Members are made aware of legal requirements
and are required to sign up to the Association's Code
of Conduct.
Members have direct access to authoritative advice
through the Association's Toy Safety Adviser, Clive
Shelton.
Membership applications are welcomed and should be
directed to the Association's sectretary.
Members
wishing to submit topics for discussion at the next
council meeting are asked to contact the secretariat.
Equitoy - the new name for the British Toy Importers
Association

On 6th September 2006, members of the BTIA -
British Toy Importers Association - voted to change
the Association's name to Equitoy. The constitution
of the Association and its remit in acting on behalf
of its members remains the same.
